Note on Hybrid Cloud Trust Migration June 16th, 2022 Historically this leaves many organizations needing to communicate to users that it will “take some time” between when they enroll and when they can first start using WHfB – not the greatest way to introduce users into a passwordless experience. This process is what informs Active Directory of the public side of the users WHfB key pair, and is what enables the user for certificate-based authentication, through WHfB, to AD. While there are some smaller niche limitations, the most common limitation that every organization will encounter with Hybrid Key Trust, is that initial Windows of needing to wait for Azure AD Connect to synchronize the msDS-Ke圜redentialLink attribute from Azure AD to the user object in Active Directory. It is the lowest weight scenario for deployment requirements, and if you already had Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), it was only a matter of a few hours to configure your directory to be ready to start a rollout. This series will be broken up into 2 or 3 modules explaining how Microsoft OneDrive is extremely powerful and secure in the hands of Education IT Administrators and Staff. When we talk about Windows Hello for Business (WHfB) rollout scenarios, the one that has consistently been the preferred path is Hybrid Key Trust. Coupled with M365 A5 OneDrive for Education offers a comprehensive storage, privacy, and security platform giving IT Administrators the tools they need to protect staff and student data in a modern world. OneDrive for Education offers a complete cloud storage solution for individual users and easily integrates into the rest of the M365 ecosystem. In this video series we will take a deeper dive into OneDrive for Business / Education and how it compares to other products. #education #security #video #onedrive #M365Education The first video has been released please feel free to check it out if this content interests you.
